CARL DICKSON Owner Proprietor of Dickson's Never Rest Farm. Carl has been working with Tennessee Walking horses for nearly 20yrs. He has been the student of many great Horseman and now he is the Mentor of many a Walking horse owners. Carl has Bred, Raised, Trained too many Walking Horses to keep count, it's hard to remember all their names. Carl especially loves the young horses. They have so much to offer, each having his or her own personality. I can recall a lady who had known Carl for many year. She had come to the farm with her lady friend who came to see our horses. She told her friend Carl was an excellent rider,she commented "Carl could make a Pig Gait" . We all laughed as did he. Carl is dedicated to his horses and making sure they are matched to the proper owner. He believes in giving the horses the best match. He's out there all winter riding and working his horses so they are ready for new owners come Spring. This picture was taken in Lynette's front yard . It was mighty cold , but he and Sunshine were out getting some exercise. You gotta love his face cover, I don't think he realized it himself. ;-)
Pictured here is Lynette. Lynette built our website, she cares for our advertising, and ties up loose ends. Lynette only started riding 11 yrs ago. She helpswith the farm, the nephews, the grooming, and riding of our horses. Lynette finds homes for all our barn cats"Yazoo's" kittens when she not playing with them and trying to keep them all.

Carl's Great Nephews Wyatt age 10 and McLean age 13. The boys are our young Wranglers. The boys love to rideand I think they like to help with the chores.
Virgil our good friend and the Best farm hand. Virgil can do anything. He loves the horses and they love him back. He is a gentle man with them .Virgil loves to ride and train with Carl. Virgil enjoys riding at the field trials and rides every chance he gets. He occasionally brings his grandson Scott with to visit and ride the tractors and help with Chores.Scotty loves the tractors and the horses who knows maybe he'll become a Dickson Wrangler someday too;-)
